GoDaddy WordPress Hosting Breach: 1.2 Million Customers Exposed

1.2 million WordPress sites hosted at GoDaddy have been breached. The scope of the compromise has been expanded to include even reseller subsidiaries.

The popular hosting service has disclosed in a SEC filing that “unauthorized third party” infiltration was confirmed starting September 6th using STOLEN CREDENTIALS. With persistent access until November 17th. This led to unauthorized access to customer numbers, email addresses, and in some cases, even SSL PRIVATE KEYS.
